Alison Smith

Alison Smith brings a fresh approach to her real estate clients thanks to an innate gift for design and a unique skill set. With a degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in Interior Design/Business and 17 years experience customizing homes as a Licensed Interior Designer, no one is better at helping clients see untapped potential. Whether she’s advising her sellers how to stage their homes for the least amount of money or painting a mental picture for her buyers of what a property could become, her input is invaluable.

Originally from Houston, Alison moved here to the Pineywoods to attend SFA more than 30 years ago, fell in love, and never left. While at SFA she met her husband, Jim, who she married a week after graduating from college and says is always the funniest guy in the room. Alison and Jim have 2 sons who are 10 years apart; Kendall is a creative college graduate now paying his own bills (to the utter delight of his parents) and McClain is a smart, athletic teenager with agility akin to Spiderman. The Smith’s attend Timber Creek Church in Lufkin, where Alison and Jim have volunteered in the children’s ministry for years.
